Mode Door Actuator

REMOVAL

1. Remove left and right underpanel silencer ducts. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/ Instrument Panel/ Service and Repair.

2. Remove floor console. Refer to Body and Frame/ Interior Trim/ Console/ Service and Repair.  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

3. Remove center floor heat adaptor duct.
4. Remove rear seat heat forward adaptor duct.
5. Loosen center support bracket and pry rearward to gain access to the actuator.
6. Remove actuator retaining screws. Then pull actuator straight down. Upon removal, note the shaft position of the actuator, because the shaft on

this motor is keyed. When installing new actuator, its shaft must be positioned in the same location.

7. Remove electrical connection on actuator.

INSTALLATION

For installation, reverse the above procedures.
