Headlamp Dimmer Switch: Service and Repair
1. Disarm airbag as outlined under ``Precautions.''
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove tilt lever and upper and lower steering column covers.
4. Remove dimmer switch to column retaining screws.
5. Disconnect dimmer switch electrical connections.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque dimmer switch to column screws to 17 inch lbs.
b. Rearm airbag as outlined under ``Precautions.''
