THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES BUILT BEFORE SEPT. 1, 1995 (MDH 09-01-XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Clunking or rattling noise from front suspension on small bumps, or free play in the stabilizer link ball joint socket(s).
DIAGNOSIS:
Inspect front stabilizer link assembly ball joints for separation of ball joint seal from link and/or ball joint free play. If seal is separated and/or ball joint
is loose, perform Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves replacing the front suspension stabilizer link assembly with revised parts.
1.
Raise vehicle on a suitable hoist.
2.
Remove tire and wheel assembly.
3.
Remove the 2 stabilizer bar link assembly attaching nuts. Remove link assembly.
4.
Install new link assembly, P/N 4764091, and (2) attaching nuts, P/N 6502724, and torque to 95 Nm (70 ft.lbs.).
