Recirculation Door Actuator
Description
DESCRIPTION
The recirculation door actuator is an electric motor. It does not have a feedback signal.
OPERATION
The recirculation door actuator mechanically positions the recirculation door in either the open or closed position.
NOTE: The outside Air/Recirc door actuator is not serviceable and must be replaced if found to be defective.
Automatic Temperature Control
CIRCUIT OPERATION
The recirculation door actuator is located on the right side of the A/C-Heater housing.
Circuit C32 is the actuator drive circuit from the Body Control Module (BCM).
Circuit C34 is the common line that is spliced, and connects, to the other sensors in the housing.
Manual A/C Heater
CIRCUIT OPERATION
The recirculation door actuator is located on the right side of the A/C-Heater housing.
Circuit C32 is the actuator drive circuit from the control head.
Circuit C34 is the common line from the control head to the actuator. This circuit is spliced with the blend air actuator and the mode door actuator.
