DISCUSSION:
A revised cowl plenum screen has been released to prevent debris from entering and collecting in the HVAC housing. A build up of debris in the housing
can cause evaporator corrosion. Anytime an evaporator is serviced a revised cowl plenum screen should be installed.
DIAGNOSIS:
Inspect cowl screen for the presence of a fine mesh screen. If there is no fine mesh screen attached perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves installing a revised cowl plenum screen.
1.
Remove cowl cover as described on page 23-25 of the 1997 Concorde/Intrepid/Vision/LHS Service Manual (Publication No. 81-270-7140).
2.
Remove cowl plenum screen from the right side plenum area.
3.
Install revised cowl plenum screen, p/n 04756940AB.
4.
Install cowl cover.
