HVAC Housing Disassembly

Unit Housing Reconditioning

Heater-A/C unit housing must be removed from vehicle before performing this operation.

The heater a/c unit housing need not be disassembled to remove the heater core. Refer to:  Heating and Air Conditioning, Heater Core, Service
and Repair, See: Heater Core/Service and Repair

DISASSEMBLE

1. Place heater-A/C unit assembly on workbench.
2. Pull back on retaining tabs and remove heater core from housing.
