Rear Timing Cover

TIMING BELT COVER(S) REAR

REMOVAL 

1. Remove camshaft sprocket(s). 

2. Remove rear timing belt cover bolts (Fig. 137).
3. Remove the rear cover(s).

NOTE: The right side rear timing belt cover has O-rings to seal the water pump passages to cylinder block (Fig. 139). Do not reuse the O-rings.
