SUBJECT:
Sun Roof Inoperative And/Or Intermittent
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves checking the sun roof wire harness connector and sun roof wire harness integrity.
MODELS:
2001 - 2002 (LH) LHS/300M/Concorde/Intrepid
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
With the Ignition key turned ON, the sun roof does not function or has intermittent function.
DIAGNOSIS:
If the vehicle operator describes any of the above conditions, perform the Repair Procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.
Remove the left upper quarter trim panel from the quarter panel, leave the seat belt attached and set the panel aside.
2.
Check the wire harness, connector, and ground strap attachment for proper conductivity.
3.
Repair as necessary.
4.
Check sunroof for proper function. If the sunroof does not function properly further diagnosis is required.
5.
Carefully install the upper quarter trim panel.
