Trunk / Liftgate Handle: Service and Repair
Liftgate Exterior Handle - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. See: Trunk / Liftgate Interior Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Liftgate Trim Panel - Removal.
2. Remove the liftgate handle rear mounting nut.
3. Place the liftgate in the closed position.
4. Remove the mounting fasteners on the front of the liftgate handle.
5. Disconnect the liftgate handle latch cable.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the liftgate handle.
