NOTE:
This recall applies only to the above vehicles NOT equipped with a 115 volt power inverter (sales code JKV) built through February 6, 2009 (MDH
020614).
IMPORTANT:
Some of the involved vehicles may be in dealer new vehicle
inventory. Federal law requires you to complete this recall service on these vehicles before retail delivery. Dealers should also consider this requirement
to apply to used vehicle inventory and should perform this recall on vehicles in for service. Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry
process.
Subject
The power inverter 9-way white electrical connector on about 16,800 of the above vehicles may become contaminated, potentially causing the connector
to melt and/or catch fire.
Repair
The power inverter 9-way white electrical connector must be relocated and the 25 amp fuse for the 9-way white connector must be removed from the
Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM).

No special tools are required to perform this repair.
Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Claims for vehicles that have been serviced must be submitted on the
DealerCONNECT Claim Entry Screen located on the Service tab. Claims
submitted will be used by Chrysler to record recall service completions and provide dealer payments.
Use the labor operation number and time allowance shown.
