Motor Does Not Return to "Park" Position

Wiper Motor Wiring Connectors

NOTE: To gain access to wiper motor wiring terminals, remove terminal cover or suppressor as required.

Test Lamp Between Terminals "L" And "P1"

1.

Remove motor wiring connector and clean terminals.  Reinstall connector and check motor operation.  If problem persists, continue testing.

Place column switch in "OFF" position.

3.

Connect a voltmeter or test lamp between terminals "P1" and "L."  If there is 12V or test lamp lights, move tester to terminal "P2."
