SUBJECT:
MAP Sensor causing DTC's P0652, P0340, C121C and P2127

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the MAP sensor with an improved part.

MODELS:

**2006 - 2007** (**LX**)

300, Charger, Magnum

**2006 - 2007** (LE)

300, Charger, Magnum

NOTE:

This information applies to LX models (Built In Canada) equipped with a 3.5L engine (Sales Code EGG), built prior to January 31, 2006, (MDH
0131XX) and to LE models (Built In Europe) equipped with a 3.5L engine (Sales Code EGG), built prior to March 8, 2006 (MDH0308XX).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Electrical noise from windshield wiper operation may cause the MAP sensor draw excessive current from the 5 volt supply. This may cause DTC's
P0652, P0340, C121C and P2127. None of these DTC's would lead to diagnosing the MAP sensor as the fault. In addition, when this occurs it may cause
an engine "limp in" condition which limits the engine RPM.

DIAGNOSIS:

Using a Scan Tool (StarSCAN(R)) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify all engine systems are functioning as
designed. If the any of the listed DTCs are present, inspect the MAP sensor (Fig. 1). If the MAP sensor is the new style, further diagnosis will be
required. If the MAP sensor is the old style, perform the repair procedure.
