Wheel Speed Sensor: Description and Operation
Rear Wheel Speed Sensor
DESCRIPTION
One wheel speed sensor (3) is mounted to the rear of each rear knuckle. The wheel speed sensor, using a tone wheel attached to the rear axle half shaft as
a trigger mechanism, communicates with the Antilock Brake Module, informing it of that wheel's speed.
