When a locked vehicle must be towed with the front wheels on the ground, use a towing dolly or flat bed hauler.
FLAT BED TOWING TIE DOWNS
CAUTION: Do not tie vehicle down by attaching chains or cables to suspension components or engine mounts, damage to vehicle can result.
The vehicle can be tied to a flat bed device using the pair of front transportation slots on the bottom surface of the rails, behind the front wheels. The rear
transportation slots are on the bottom of the left bumper extension and in the bracket extending inboard of the right bumper extension.
WITHOUT THE IGNITION KEY
Special care must be taken when the vehicle is towed with the ignition in the LOCK position. The only approved method of towing with out the ignition
key is with a flat bed truck. Proper towing equipment is necessary to prevent damage to the vehicle.
TOWING THIS VEHICLE BEHIND ANOTHER VEHICLE (Flat towing with all four wheels on the ground)
Your vehicle may be towed under the following conditions: The gear selector must be in NEUTRAL, the distance to be traveled must not exceed 48 km
(30) miles, and the towing speed must not exceed 48 km/h (30 mph). Exceeding these towing limits may cause a transmission geartrain failure. If the
transmission is not operative, or if the vehicle is to be towed more than 48 km (30) miles, the vehicle must be transported using a flat bed or the drive
shaft disconnected at the rear axle drive flange.
TOWING THIS VEHICLE BEHIND ANOTHER VEHICLE WITH A TOW DOLLY
The manufacture does not recommend that you tow this vehicle on a tow dolly. Vehicle damage may occur.
