NOTE:

This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with a 5.7L engine (Sale Code EZB) built prior to April 14, 2004 (0414XX).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

During windshield wiper operation, the wiper linkage may contact and move the MAP sensor wiring. Overtime, the movement of the wire(s) may cause a
wire(s) to break. If a MAP sensor wire(s) is broken, the MIL light would be illuminated and the following Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) (DTC) would be
set P0106, P0107 and/or P0108.

DIAGNOSIS:

Turn on the windshield wipers and visually inspect the MAP sensor wiring and wiper linkage for adequate clearance (view from the passenger side of the
engine compartment). If there is no tie strap securing the MAP sensor wiring away from the wiper linkage, perform the Repair Procedure.
