Mini Ram Van L4-134 2.2L SOHC VIN C 2-BBL (1987)
NOTES: Always check specifications and procedures shown on underhood emissions label. Before checking or adjusting any idle speed, check ignition
timing and adjust if necessary.

Set parking brake and place transaxle in neutral. Turn off all lights and accessories.

Disconnect and plug vacuum connector at the Coolant Vacuum Switch Cold Closed (CVSCC) valve.

Unplug connector at radiator fan and install jumper wire so fan will run continuously.

Remove PCV valve and allow valve to draw underhood air.

Connect tachometer to engine.

Ground carburetor switch with jumper wire.

Disconnect oxygen sensor system test connector located on left fender shield.

Start and run engine until normal operating temperature is reached.

If tachometer indicates RPM is not to specifications, turn idle speed screw until correct idle speed is obtained.

Reconnect PCV valve, oxygen sensor test connector , and vacuum connector.

Remove jumper wire and reconnect radiator fan.
NOTE: After final steps are completed, the idle speed may change slightly. This is normal and engine speed should not be readjusted.
