Idle Speed: Adjustments
Anti-Dieseling Adjustment
ANTI-DIESELING ADJUSTMENT
NOTES: Always check specifications and procedures shown on underhood emissions label. Before checking or adjusting any idle speed, check ignition
timing and adjust if necessary.

Set parking brake and place transaxle in neutral. Turn off all lights and accessories.

Ground the idle stop carburetor switch with a jumper wire.

Remove the red wire from the 6 way connector on the carburetor side of the connector.

Adjust the throttle screw to 700 RPM.

Reconnect wire at connector and remove jumper wire from idle stop carburetor switch.
