SYMPTOM/CONDITION
Three passenger folding back bench seat adjuster rattles while driving.
DIAGNOSIS
A.
The third seat (folding back bench) may exhibit a rattle due to excessive clearance between the adjuster latch bar and the bracket slots through
which it slides.
B.
The third seat may exhibit a rattle due to clearance between the rear hook of the seat adjuster riser and the striker bar at the floor.

REPAIR PROCEDURE FOR DIAGNOSIS A
1.
Move the third seat (folding back bench) to the full rear latched position.
2.
Remove the seat from the vehicle per service manual.
3.
Fold down the back of the seat and turn the entire seat upside down.
4.
Obtain two Extension Springs, PN 4277534.
