Mini Ram Van L4-156 2.6L SOHC VIN G 2-bbl (1984)
Adjust jet valve clearance before adjusting intake valve clearance.
1. Allow engine to reach normal operating temperature, then position piston at TDC on compression stroke.
2. Loosen valve adjuster lock nut, then adjust valve clearance by rotating adjusting screw while measuring with a feeler gauge, Fig. 30.
3. Check valve clearance. Valve clearance should be as specified.
4. Tighten lock nut securely while holding adjusting screw with screwdriver.
