Remove the governor assembly bolt. Lift the governor assembly from the distributor and lay it aside (Figure 4).

Remove the two (2) pick-up coil and ignition control igniter tightening screws (Figure 5).

Remove the two (2) screws securing the vacuum advance assembly to the distributor housing (Figure 6).
