Remove the two (2) rotor screws and remove the rotor (Figures 1 and 2).

Loosen the governor assembly bolt using a socket wrench as shown in Figure 3.

Remove the distributor hold down bolt and disconnect the distributor electrical harness from the coil. Remove the vacuum line from the vacuum
advance assembly.
5.
Remove the distributor assembly from the engine.
