Remove the air cleaner mounting nut securing the aspirator "Y" pipe (resonator on 1987 models). On some vehicles it may be
necessary to remove all air cleaner mountings and lift air cleaner out of the way (Figure 2).

Remove the "Y" pipe (resonator on 1987 models) with the air cleaner hose attached and discard assembly.
8.
Install the rubber cap, PN 4201111, from the kit on the now open tube at the bottom of the air cleaner. This is accomplished by
simply pushing it over the opening (Figure 2).
9.
Reinstall the air cleaner, leaving the nut off which secured the "Y" pipe (resonator on 1987 models).
