Lift the pick-up coil and I.C. igniter assembly slightly to allow the vacuum advance assembly to be pulled out of the distributor housing (Figures 7
and 8).
10.
Replace the vacuum advance assembly with the new dual diaphragm vacuum advance assembly supplied in the kit.
11.
Reinstall the two (2) screws to secure the vacuum advance assembly to the distributor housing.
12.
Reinstall the pick-up coil and I.C. igniter assembly.
13.
Reinstall the governor assembly and torque the bolt to 39 inch pounds.
