prior to installing the following repair package.
SYMPTOM/CONDITION
A lack of power condition may be exhibited on subject model vehicles operated during cold weather after extended periods of interstate travel at
highway speeds. This condition may be due to carburetor air intake system icing.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Remove the air filter housing cover with the crossover hose still attached. Remove crankcase breather hose from housing. Remove fresh air duct
from air cleaner snorkel.
2.
Remove the housing attaching hardware and lift the housing up to disconnect the heated air duct and the aspirator plumbing (where equipped)
from the bottom of the housing. Remove air filter housing.
3.
Place the air filter housing in a vice being careful not to crush the snorkel.
