Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Testing and Inspection

Coolant Temperature Sensor

1.

Disconnect the harness connector from the coolant temperature sensor.

2.

Using a high impedance digital volt/ohm meter, measure the resistance of the coolant temperature sensor.  Compare readings taken with the chart
below.  Replace the coolant temperature sensor if the readings do not match.
