Drill a 1/2 inch hole through the bulkhead one inch to the left of the round insulation retaining clip (Figure 1). Remove all metal burrs from around
the drilled hole.

FROM THE ENGINE SIDE, INSPECT THE BULKHEAD AREA BELOW THE HEATER FAN MOTOR AND VERIFY THAT VACUUM
LINES AND FUEL LINES ARE CLEAR OF THIS AREA BEFORE DRILLING (FIGURE 2).

Disconnect the speed sensor connector from the injector wiring harness at the rear of the left cylinder head.

Connect the speed sensor patch harness to the speed sensor and to the injector wiring harness. Route the speed sensor patch harness along the
existing ECU wire harness and secure with tie straps shown in Figure 3.

Insert the speed sensor patch harness through the 1/2 inch drilled hole in the bulkhead and fully seat the speed sensor patch harness grommet in the
drilled hole.
