Carrier Switch Test

1.

Using suitable volt/ohmmeter, check resistance at open switch position at cavity 27 (LH side, carrier front position switch circuit), and 28 (rear
position), refer to SCHEMATIC DIAGRAMS/ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC DIAGRAMS Resistance should be greater than 3,000
ohms.

Check resistance at open switch position at cavity 21 (RH side, carrier front position switch circuit), and 4 (rear position). Resistance should be
greater than 3,000 ohms.

3.

Check resistance at closed switch position at cavity 27 (RH side, carrier front position switch circuit), and 28 (rear position). Resistance should be
less than 100 ohms.

4.

Check resistance at closed switch position at cavity 21 (RH side, carrier front position switch circuit), and 4 (rear position). Resistance should be
less than 100 ohms.

5.

Ensure voltage is concurrent with voltages shown.
