Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Ensure that the ignition switch and all accessories are OFF

Disconnect Battery Negative Cable

2. Remove battery negative cable first then the positive cable.

Battery Thermogaurd

3. Remove battery thermoguard cover.

WARNING:  TO PROTECT THE HANDS FROM BATTERY ACID, A SUITABLE PAIR OF HEAVY DUTY RUBBER GLOVES,
NOT THE HOUSEHOLD TYPE, SHOULD BE WORN WHEN REMOVING OR SERVICING A BATTERY. SAFETY GLASSES
ALSO SHOULD BE WORN.
