8. Reconnect the exhaust extension to the y-pipe setting the depth of the pipe to the mark that was scribed in Step 4.
9. Position the exhaust so that the clearance between the tailpipe and rear crossmember is at least 15mm (19/32 in.) on a Nitro or 20mm (51/64 in.) on a
Liberty.
10. Secure they-pipe to the extension pipe with the torca exhaust clamp. Torque the clamp to 55 N.m +/-8 N.m (12 ft. lbs. +/-2 ft. lbs.).
11. Lower the vehicle.
