Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Connect quick-connect fittings (3) and (4) to solenoid.
2. Connect electrical connector (5).
3. Push solenoid assembly (1) onto the tongue-type bracket (2).
4. The vapor/vacuum lines and hoses must be firmly connected. Also check the vapor/vacuum lines at the ESIM switch and filter for damage or
leaks. If a leak is present, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be set.
