DISCUSSION:
The cargo net that was attached to the rear closure panel and was standard on the SLT and ST models and available as an option on the WS models in
1997 was eliminated from production for the 1998 and 1999 model years. The cargo net p/n 04761197 is available to Chrysler customers through Mopar
and can be attached to the rear closure panel of 1998 and 1999 Ram Trucks.
DO NOT SUBMIT A SHORTAGE AND ERROR CLAIM FOR THE LACK OF A CARGO NET NOR SHOULD ANY WARRANTY CLAIMS BE
FILED AGAINST THE CARGO NET FOR A 1998 OR 1999 RAM TRUCK.
Please inform all personnel involved with receiving and delivering of Ram Trucks that the cargo net has been eliminated from production.
