Inspect the 5 digit date code on both front wheel hubs. The date code is located on the outside edge of the wheel hub flange (Figure 2).

If the date range on the hub is 05306 through 06074, or is unreadable, replace the hub and bearing assembly. Continue to Section B Hub
and Bearing Replacement.
NOTE:
The hub may have additional numbers stamped on the outside edge. The date code is a 5 digit number.

If the date range is 05305 or lower, OR 06075 or higher, the bearing and hub assembly is good. Continue to Section C. Assemble After
Bearing and Hub Inspection or Replacement.
