1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Open the glove box door.
3. Reach through the window in the instrument panel (2) glove box opening behind the switch to access and depress the retaining latch on either side

of the glove box lamp and switch unit (3).

4. While holding the retaining latch depressed, push the glove box lamp and switch unit out through the mounting hole in the face of the instrument

panel.

5. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the glove box lamp and switch.
6. Remove the lamp and switch unit from the instrument panel.
