Refrigerant Oil: Description and Operation
REFRIGERANT OIL
The oil used in the TR-105 compressor is a polyalkylene glycol synthetic (SP-10 PAG), wax-free refrigerant oil. Use only refrigerant oil of the
same type to service the system.
Refrigerant oil will absorb any moisture it comes in contact with, even moisture in the air. The oil container should be kept tightly capped until it is
ready to be used. Then, cap the oil immediately after using, to prevent contamination.
