1. Position each tool with the small hook attached to the upper suspension arm frame bracket. Position the large hook around the pivot bar.
2. Tighten each tool with the adjustment nut until the large hook is snugly fitted around the pivot bar. The nuts have right-hand threads.
3. With the adjustment tools installed, loosen both upper suspension arm bolts completely.
4. Tighten or loosen the tool adjustment nuts. This will move the upper suspension arm inward or outward to obtain the proper camber and caster

angles.

Caster:   Move only the rear position of the pivot bar in or out. This will change the caster angle significantly and camber angle only slightly. To
retain the camber while adjusting caster, move the rear pivot bar in or out. Move the forward pivot very slightly in the opposite direction.

NOTE:  For example, to increase a positive caster angle move the rear position of the pivot bar inward. Move the front of pivot bar outward until
the original camber angle is obtained.

Camber:  Move only the forward position of the pivot bar in or out. This will change the camber angle significantly and caster angle only slightly.
The camber angle should be adjusted to the service specifications. Tighten the pivot bar bolts to 298 Nm (220 ft. lbs.).

TOE POSITION 

The wheel toe position is the final adjustment procedure.
1. Secure the steering wheel with the front wheels in the straight ahead position. For power steering vehicles, start the engine before straightening

the wheels.

2. Loosen the tie rod adjustment sleeve clamp bolts.

3. Adjust the wheel toe position by rotating the tie rod adjustment sleeve.
4. Position the adjustment sleeve clamps so the ends are not located at the sleeve slot. Tighten the tie rod sleeve clamps to:

Standard Duty: 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)

Heavy Duty: 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.) 

Ensure the clamp bolts are located at the underside of the sleeve.
