Starter Connector Remove/Install

6. Remove the nuts from the solenoid terminal studs for the starter battery cable and solenoid wire harness connectors.
7. Remove the starter motor.
8. Reverse the removal procedures to install. Tighten the starter hardware as follows:

Starter mounting bolt - 68 Nm (50 ft lb)

Starter mounting nut - 68 Nm (50 ft lb)

-

Battery cable terminal nut - 13.5 Nm (120 in lb)

-

Solenoid wire harness terminal nut - 6.2 Nm (55 in lb).
