Position the fuel rail assembly on the intake manifold. Guide each injector into the intake manifold openings. Be careful not to damage the injector
0-rings.

Push the right half of the fuel rail down until the fuel injectors have bottomed on the injector shoulder. Next, push the left half of the fuel rail down
until the fuel injectors have bottomed on the injector shoulder.

Install the fuel rail mounting bolts (Figure 8). Tighten the bolts to 200 in-lbs (23 N.m).

Install the A/C compressor support bracket bolts (if equipped) (Figure 8). Tighten the bolts to 20 ft-lbs (27 N.m).

Install the new copper washer (gasket) between the fuel line and the low-pressure fuel shut-off solenoid (Figure 4).
CAUTION:
Be sure to install the new washer in the same direction as the old washer.

Connect the fuel line to the low-pressure fuel shut-off solenoid. Tighten the fitting to 30 ft-lbs (41 N.m) (Figure 4).

Using the new gasket, install the throttle body assembly, Tighten the bolts to 200 in-lbs (23 N.m) (Figure 7).

Connect the throttle cable to the throttle body bracket (Figure 6).

hold the throttle lever in the full open position and connect the throttle cable to the throttle lever pin. Connect the speed control cable to the other
throttle lever pin (if equipped) (Figure 5).

Connect the eight (8) fuel injector electrical connectors according to the cylinder I.D. tag on each connector.
30.
Connect the fuel low-pressure sensor, low-pressure fuel shut-off solenoid and fuel temperature sensor electrical connectors (Figure 3).
31.
Connect the MAP sensor, IAC motor and TPS electrical connectors (Figure 2).
B. Replace Driver's Side Inboard Fuel Cylinder Mounting Straps
1.
Raise the vehicle on the hoist.
2.
Close the manual fuel shut-off valve (Figure 9).
3.
Loosen the allen head set screw on the manual shut-off valve handle (red handle) and then remove the handle (Figure 9).
