Mark the fuel line fitting as shown in Figure 12 and then disconnect the fuel filler line from the check valve located between the rear end of the
fuel cylinders (Figure 13).

Mark the fuel line fitting as shown in Figure 12 and then disconnect the rear fuel cylinder line from the tee located between the rear end of the fuel
cylinders (Figure 13).
9.
Disconnect the side cylinder crossover tube and filler tube brackets from the vehicle crossmember (Figure 13).
10.
Remove the three (3) inboard side fuel cylinder carrier mounting bolts (Figure 11).

Position and secure a heavy-duty lifting device such as OTC (SPX) part number 1585 or equivalent, to the bottom of the side fuel cylinder/carrier
assembly.
12.
Remove the remaining side fuel cylinder carrier mounting bolts and nuts (Figure 11).
13.
Carefully lower the side fuel cylinder/carrier assembly by moving the assembly forward 1/2" and then down 1-2".
IMPORTANT:
The side fuel cylinder/carrier should be lowered only enough to allow access to the inboard cylinder mounting straps. Do NOT lower the fuel
cylinder/carrier assembly more than 2" or damage to the fuel lines may occur.
14.
Remove the front inboard cylinder mounting strap. Set the strap aside for return to the Warranty Material Return Center.
15.
Install one of the provided fuel cylinder mounting straps. Evenly tighten the two strap mounting nuts to 180 in-lbs (20 N.m). Do NOT overtighten
and do NOT retighten the first nut after the second nut has been tightened.
16.
Remove the manual shut off valve handle extension (Figure 13).
