Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the trim panel from the inside of the front door.

Power Window Motor Remove/Install

3. Disengage the power window motor wire harness connector retainer from the mounting hole on the front door module and unplug the connector.
4. Remove the three screws that secure the power window motor and mechanism to the front door module.
5. Remove the power window motor and mechanism from the front door module.
6. Reverse the removal procedures to install. Tighten the mounting screws to 11 N.m (98 in. lbs.).
