REPLACE ANY BELT THAT HAS A DAMAGED OR INOPERATIVE BUCKLE OR RETRACTOR. REPLACE ANY BELT THAT HAS A
BENT OR DAMAGED LATCH PLATE OR ANCHOR PLATE. NEVER ATTEMPT TO REPAIR A SEAT BELT COMPONENT. ALWAYS
REPLACE DAMAGED OR FAULTY SEAT BELT COMPONENTS WITH THE CORRECT NEW AND UNUSED REPLACEMENT PARTS
LISTED IN THE MOPAR PARTS CATALOG.
1. Position the shoulder belt and retractor onto the quick-release rear seat.
2. From the front of the seat, push the lower shoulder belt anchor plate between the quick-release rear seat cushion and the seat back.
3. From the back of the seat, lift the skirt on the back edge of the quick-release rear seat cushion far enough to access the lower shoulder belt anchor
plate and position it to the rear seat cushion reinforcement.
4. Engage the plastic belt guide of the quick-release rear seat shoulder belt onto the top of the seat back. Be certain the belt is not twisted.
5. Position the shoulder belt retractor over the skirt and the lower anchor plate onto the reinforcement on the back of the quick-release rear seat
cushion.
6. Install and tighten the screw that secures the lower anchor plate and retractor of the quick-release rear seat shoulder belt to the reinforcement
below the rear seat cushion. Tighten the screw to 40 Nm (29 ft. lbs.).
7. If removed, install and tighten the screw for the quick-release turning loop anchor plate onto the inner roof rail. Tighten the screw to 40 Nm (29 ft.
lbs.).
8. Engage the keyhole on the back of the turning loop anchor plate of the quick release rear seat shoulder belt over the screw on the inner roof rail
and slide the anchor plate downward until it latches into place.
