Fuel Tank Module
FUEL TANK MODULE
An electric fuel pump is not used in the fuel tank module for diesel powered engines. Fuel is supplied by the fuel transfer pump and the fuel
injection pump.

Fuel Gauge Sending Unit - Typical
The fuel tank module is installed in the top of the fuel tank. The fuel tank module contains the following components:

Fuel reservoir

A separate in-tank fuel filter

Pressure relief/rollover valve

Fuel gauge sending unit

Fuel supply line connection

Fuel return line connection

Auxiliary fuel supply fitting
The electric fuel pump, normally mounted in the fuel pump module on gas powered engines, is not used with diesel powered engines.
AUXILIARY FUEL SUPPLY FITTING
An auxiliary (capped) fuel supply fitting is located on the top of the fuel tank module. This fitting supplies a non-pressurized auxiliary fuel source.
