Muffler: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the clamps and nuts.

3. Disconnect the support hanger.
4. Remove the muffler.

INSTALLATION 

1. Connect the support hanger.
2. Install the clamps and nuts. Tighten the nuts to 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.) torque.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks and exhaust system contact with the body panels. Adjust the alignment, if needed.
