1. If equipped, remove the rear storage bin. See: Utility Storage Compartment/Service and Repair/Storage Bin - Removal 
2. Remove the lower seat belt anchor bolt (3).
3. Separate the forward clip.
4. Separate the remaining retaining clips and remove the lower trim (1).

QUAD CAB

1. Remove the front door cowl trim panel. See: Cowl Trim Panel - Removal 
2. Remove the rear door scuff plate. See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Scuff Plate - Removal 
3. Release the retaining clips and remove the trim panel(1).
