2010 (DS) Ram Truck (1500 series)
2010 (D2) Ram Truck (2500 series)
2010 (DJ) Ram Truck (3500 series)
NOTE:
This notification applies only to the above vehicles built with Manual Temperature Control (MTC) from March 18, 2010 through June 24, 2010
(MDH 031800 through 062407).
IMPORTANT:
Some of the involved vehicles may be in dealer used vehicle inventory. Dealers should complete this repair on these vehicles before retail delivery.
Dealers should also perform this repair on vehicles in for service. Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry process.
Subject
The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control head software on about 37,800 of the above vehicles may cause the mode door actuator
gears to make noise and/or break. This could cause the inability to fully control the HVAC functions.
Repair
The HVAC control head must be reprogramed with new software.

Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Claims for vehicles that have been serviced must be submitted on the DealerCONNECT Claim Entry Screen located on the Service tab. Claims
submitted will be used by Chrysler to record Customer Satisfaction Notification service completions and provide dealer payments.
