Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - Installation
6.7L DIESEL
1. Install ETC sensor (2) to engine.
2. Tighten sensor (2) to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.) torque.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the ETC sensor (2).
4. Install heat shield.
5. Install the upper EGR tube.See: Powertrain Management/Emission Control Systems/Exhaust Gas Recirculation/EGR Tube/Service and
Repair/Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Tube - Installation
6. Install the engine trim cover.
7. Replace any lost engine coolant See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Service and Repair.
