Pinion Yoke Installation
8. Install yoke with Installer D-191.
9. Install the yoke washer and a new nut on the pinion gear. Install yoke washer with concave surface against the yoke.
Tightening Pinion Nut
Tighten Pinion Nut
10. Hold pinion yoke with Yoke Holder 6719 and tighten shaft nut to 597 Nm (440 ft. lbs.). Rotate pinion shaft several revolutions to ensure the
bearing rollers are seated.
