Keyless Entry Module: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Knee Blocker Remove/Install
2. Remove the five screws that secure the knee blocker to the instrument panel and remove the knee blocker.
3. On club cab models only:
Steering Column Cover Reinforcement Remove/Install - Club Cab Only
a. Remove the six screws that secure the steering column cover reinforcement to the instrument panel.
b. Remove the steering column cover reinforcement from the instrument panel.
Power Lock And Remote Keyless Entry Module Remove/Install
4. Remove the two screws that secure the power lock and remote keyless entry module to the defrost duct.
5. Lower the power lock and remote keyless entry module far enough to unplug the two wire harness connectors from the module.
6. Remove the power lock and remote keyless entry module from under the instrument panel.
