28. Verify that the camshaft timing marks are aligned with the crankshaft and injection pump marks.
Thrust Plate Bolt Location
29. Remove the bolts from the thrust plate.
CAUTION: When removing the camshaft and thrust plate, grab the thrust plate to prevent it from failing into the crankcase.
