Hose/Line HVAC: Description and Operation
A/C Suction Hose/Line
The suction line is the refrigerant line that goes from the evaporator outlet tube to the compressor inlet port. The suction line for the 5.9L Diesel engine
is only serviced as an assembly with the discharge line. The suction line has no serviceable parts except the rubber O-rings. If the suction line is found to
be leaking or is damaged, it must be replaced.
