Keyless Entry Transmitter Battery: Service and Repair

To replace the remote keyless entry system transmitter batteries, separate the transmitter case halves at the center seam by prying gently with a trim stick,
or another suitable wide, fiat-bladed tool. The case snaps open and shut.

Replace the two batteries with new Duracell DL2016, or their equivalent. Be certain that the batteries are installed with their polarity correctly oriented.
Then, align the two transmitter case halves with each other, and squeeze them firmly together until they snap back into place.
